Villa-type container houses

The villa container house, also known as the light steel villa, adopts a structural system with cold-formed steel sections as the framework, and locally uses other structural components according to the construction requirements. The spacing of light steel frames is commonly in the modulus of 300, 450 or 600mm. The cross-sectional height of the wall frame is generally 89mm or 140mm, and the height of the floor frame is generally 200 to 400mm. In this way, the space of the walls and floors can provide convenient conditions for the pipes and grids in the residence.

Since the roofs of low-rise residential buildings are mostly pitched roofs, the roof structure basically adopts a triangular truss system made of frames. After the structural panels and gypsum boards are wrapped in this evenly spaced framework, a solid “board rib structure system” is formed. This structure system has a stronger ability to resist earthquakes and horizontal loads because it decomposes the concentrated loads in the building’s self-weight to a smaller extent. U-shaped steel and C-shaped steel can be combined to form beams and columns of different cross-sections, which is very flexible. Beams with larger spans can reach up to 9 meters. The connection between steel frames is made by using self-tapping and self-drilling screws and standard connecting plates.

1. Wall surface

The exterior wall is composed of an exterior decorative layer, a waterproof vapor barrier layer, an insulation layer, a structural framework and an interior decorative layer. The exterior decorative layer can be made of various building materials with different textures and styles, such as metal hanging panels, vinyl hanging panels, engineering wood hanging panels, exterior wall panels, and exterior wall stone. The insulation layer can be configured with any wall with thermal resistance between R13 and R30 according to the climatic conditions. The waterproof vapor barrier layer has a unidirectional breathing function.

2 Roof

Adopt the new type of steel structure inclined roof, the basic structural form; Inclined beams, structural panels, waterproof layers and insulation layers, decorative panels. The panels used for roof decoration include composite roof panels, colored embossed interlocking tiles, colored glass patterned tiles, metal locking panels and colored fiberglass tiles, etc. They feature a wide range of colors and shapes, and have strong bonding and leak-proof capabilities.

3 Floor

The floor system is mainly composed of ribbed girders, structural panels and ceilings. The beam is made of cold-formed thin-walled steel sections as the load-bearing structure: the structural panel is oriented strand board (OSB). The ceiling is made of gypsum board.
