Under the sunlight, the paint on the wall will gradually peel off and loosen. The glue gap previously applied to the connection between the wall and the glass would gradually peel off and fall off, eventually leading to the problem of cracks and water leakage.
Solutions to the problem of water leakage in sunrooms
After the sunroom frame is completed, if there are any connections with the wall, the original paint on the wall must be removed to ensure a firm bond between the glue and the wall. After applying the adhesive, make grooves on the wall above the covering and install the rain shield to ensure double-layer waterproofing without leakage.
The glue used in sunrooms plays a very important role in waterproofing. The top of a sunroom is usually made of structural glue and weather-resistant glue. In the gaps between the top coverings, first apply a layer of structural adhesive and then attach a layer of weather-resistant adhesive to firmly connect the frame with the coverings. Between the door and window and the frame, it is best to leave a gap of 3-5mm and stick it to the gap between the door and window and the frame, which makes the structure stronger and the waterproof effect better.
