The sunroom, also known as the glass room, is a fully bright non-traditional building constructed with glass and metal frames, aiming to enjoy the sunshine and get close to nature. Sunrooms need to be designed and constructed based on the usage requirements of the venue and personal preferences. The interior decoration can be done according to personal tastes.
Before welding the steel structure of the sunroom, all square tubes should be treated for rust prevention to ensure that the steel structure is not prone to rust.
Two: Use square steel with a specification of 80mm*80mm and a wall thickness of 3mm for welding the main structure. According to the measured dimensions and design requirements, weld the four corner columns and four side ring beams to serve as the main load-bearing structure of the entire sunroom. The verticality of the columns and the distance error between columns should not exceed ± 5MM.
Three: Use square steel with a specification of 76mm*44mm and a wall thickness of 2.5mm to weld the main and secondary beams. According to the design of the top surface, rationally distribute the crossbeams and longitudinal beams. Consider aspects such as aesthetics and load-bearing capacity, and weld the top structure. Here, square tubes of different wall thicknesses and specifications can be selected according to actual needs. When welding, the connection points of the steel structure must have full weld points, no false welds, no looseness and no gaps. The welding method is fish-scale welding.
Four: Beautification of Steel Structures After the steel structures are welded, 1.2mm thick stainless steel plates can be folded according to the dimensions of the steel to completely wrap the square steel. In this way, it can not only prevent the steel structure from being exposed to wind, rain, bumps and scratches, but also enhance its aesthetic appeal. Some people, considering the cost, do not wrap the square steel but paint it instead. This is also acceptable, but generally, the square steel needs to be maintained once every two years, which is rather troublesome.
Five: The roof of the sunroom is made and installed according to the welded steel structure. The materials for the top surface of the sunroom can be color steel plates, polycarbonate sheets, single-sided tempered glass or insulating tempered glass. Laminated glass has good load-bearing and impact resistance. Single-sided tempered glass can be made of 8mm to 12mm thick, or 5mm+9A+5mm insulating tempered glass. Color steel plates can be made of 80mm or 120mm thick corrugated color steel plates.
Six: Fabrication and Installation of Facade Doors and Windows For sunrooms: For facade doors and Windows, you can choose aluminum alloy doors and Windows, thermal break aluminum alloy doors and Windows, wood-clad aluminum doors and Windows, or pure solid wood doors and Windows, etc.
